The equipment supports the IGMP Snooping fast leave function. With the function enabled on the equipment, the multicast ports involved can be quickly deleted before the aging time elapses.
In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose from the Function Tree. Click the Enable IGMP Fast Leave tab.

When leaving a multicast group, an IGMP user sends the leave packet to the equipment actively. If the user is configured with the fast leave attribute, the equipment deletes the user from a multicast group directly. Otherwise, the equipment sends the specific-group query packets to the multicast group. If the equipment does not receive the response from the IGMP user port within a period, it deletes the user from the multicast group. |
