WDM NEs are able to transparently transmit alarm signals from external devices. This RS232 Transparently Transmit function centralizes alarm management for external devices. Data Source and Data Sink are two mandatory parameters of this function. In the RS232 Transparently Transmit window, you can set the data source and add or delete a data sink.
In the NE Explorer, select an SCC board and choose from the navigation tree.
