M:N protection groups efficiently protect working cross-connect boards. In this user interface, you can query board protection groups and perform protection switching.
In the NE Explorer, click an NE and choose from the Function Tree.

Locked Switching |
Locks switching. If you lock switching for the working board, services are locked to the working board and will not be switched to the protection board. If you lock switching for the protection board, the protection board does not provide protection. During this operation, you can select only one record. |
Manual Switching |
Switches services manually between the working and protection boards. During this operation, you can select only one working board and one protection board. |

Indicates the wait to restore (WTR) time. M:N protection is a type of shared protection. Therefore, its reversion mode must be revertive. WTR time determines when to switch services back to the original working board after the board is detected normal. If the working board is restored, services will be switched back to it when the WTR time is due. |
