WDM Service Configuration

In this user interface, you can query and configure the timeslots of an electrical cross-connection.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click an NE and choose Configuration > WDM Service Configuration from the Function Tree. Click the WDM Service Configuration tab.

Queries configured services of the NE and the service status from the NE.

Applies the configuration to the NE.

  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name-port number(port name)-channel number

Displays the port the WDM services occupied.

Service Type

STM-1, STM-4, STM-16, STM-64, STM-256, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192, OC-768, OTU1, OTU2, Fast Ethernet (FE), Gigabit Ethernet (GE), GE(GFP-T), 10GE WAN, 10GE LAN, ESCON, FICON, FICON Express, FC50, FC100, FC200, FC400, FC800, FC1200, DVB-ASI, DVB-SDI, FDDI, HDTV, Any

Displays the cross-connection type.

Service Rate (0.1M)

For example: 1250

Displays the cross-connection rate.

Send Timeslots

1 to 16

Sets the send timeslots of the cross-connection.

Receive Timeslots

1 to 16

Sets the receive timeslots of the cross-connection.

Timeslot Configuration Mode

Manual, Automatic

Default: Automatic

Set the timeslot configuration mode.

  • Manual: Manually set the transmit and receive timeslots.
  • Automatic: The system automatically allocates the transmit and receive timeslots that cannot be changed.
