NE Attribute

In this user interface, you can view and set NE attributes, including NE ID, shelf type, and IP address.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > NE Attribute from the Function Tree.

Modify NE ID

Modify the value of NE ID or extended ID.
NOTICE:

This operation may cause communication interruption between the NE and Web LCT.

Clear Smoke Alarm

Clears smoke alarms of an outdoor rack.

Displays the type of an NE.

ID

For example: 1

Displays the unique ID of an NE on the NM for identifying an NE, which is the basis of communication between the NM and an NE.

New ID

For example: 1

Sets the new ID of an NE on the NM for identifying an NE, which is the basis of communication between the NM and an NE.

Extended ID

1 to 255

Default: 9

For NE ID extension.

New Extended ID

1 to 255

Default: 9

Sets the new extended ID of an NE,For NE ID extension.

Name

For example: NE70

Displays the NE name, for the convenience of searching for the NE.

Remarks

-

Enters extra notes of the NE if desired.

Subrack Type

1U Shelf, 2U Shelf, 1U Air Convection Shelf

For example: Standard Shelf

Displays the shelf type of an NE.

Gateway Type

IP Gateway, Serial Port, USB

Displays the gateway type of an NE decides the mode of communication between the NE and the NM.

Affiliated Gateway IP Address

For example: 10.71.82.94

Selects the address of the GNE to which the created NE is associated.

Affiliated Gateway Port

Default: 1400

Displays the port of the GNE to which an NE is associated.

ASON Feature Enabled

Checked, Unchecked

Displays whether the ASON feature is enabled.

Outdoor Cabinet Type

NULL, APM30 AC, APM30 DC, OMB AC, OMB DC

Sets the type of outdoor cabinet.

OLS Trigger Flag

Disabled, Enabled

Default: Disabled

Sets whether to enable the optical layer monitoring function.

Software Version (VRC)

For example: V100R005C00

Displays the software version of the NE.

Backplane Bus Mode

Standard Mode(1G), Extended Mode(2.5G)

Indicates the interaction rate of NE backplane lines. The interaction rate depends on the chip capabilities on the main control board.
