Board-level protection enables redundant protection switching at the board level. When board-level protection is configured, the board-level active/standby switching is triggered when a fault on the working link, port, or board is detected. In this user interface, you can configure board-level protection, including setting the protection switching pair, setting switching conditions, and performing protection switching operations.
In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select from the Function Tree.
For the protection switching command, the Web LCT considers only whether a command is successfully issued, but not the result of executing the command. Therefore, after the Web LCT issues a switching command, you need to manually query the switching status of the equipment.
When creating the board-level protection, adhere to the following principles:Item |

Extended Control Unit |
Not Extended, SCS Extension |
When one working service and one protection service are accessed to the working and protection boards respectively, the Extended Control Unit is Not Extended. When one service is accessed, the SCS board needs to duplicate the service and access the two services to the working and protection boards respectively. In this case, the Extended Control Unit is SCS Extension. |
