OSI Tunnel

In this user interface, you can configure OSI tunnels for those NEs at the edge of a non-OSI network. In this way, the Web LCT for an OSI network is able to pass through a non-OSI network to manage OSI NEs.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select Communication > OSI Management from the Function Tree. Click OSI Tunnel tab.

Displays the IP address at the opposite end of the OSI tunnel.

LAPD Actor

User, Network

Displays the LAPD actor.

Efficient LAPD Enable

Enabled, Disabled

Displays whether the LAPD is enabled.

Configurable LAPD Enable

Enabled, Disabled

Enables or disables the LAPD.

LAPD Parameter

Remote IP Address

For example, 10.70.73.152

Displays the IP address at the opposite end of the OSI tunnel.

L2 Wait Time to Retry(s)

1-20

Sets the time to wait before retrying transmission at Layer 2.

L2 Retry Times

2-6

Sets the times of retry at Layer 2.

L3 Hello Timer(s)

1-100

Sets the timer for hello packets at Layer 3.

L3 ES Timer(s)

1-200

Sets the end system timer at Layer 3.

L3 IS Timer(s)

1-200

Sets the intermediate system timer at Layer 3.

L3 Hold Timer(s)

Sets the timer for holding time at Layer 3.
