DCC Transparent Transmission Management

In this user interface, you can set DCC transparent transmission in hybrid networking. You can set the source and the sink ports for transparent transmission of bytes, and set what bytes that you wish to transmit.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select Communication > DCC Management from the Function Tree. Select the DCC Transparent Transmission Management tab.

Source Timeslot/Port

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name-port number(port name)

Specifies the source port where the transparent transmission byte is to be set.

Transparent Transmission of Overhead Bytes at Source Port

D1 to D12, E1 to E2, F1, X1 to X4, K1 to K3, FE_CH1, FE_CH2

Sets the byte to be transmitted transparently through the source port.

Sink Timeslot/Port

For example: 15-SC2-2(RM2/TM2)

Specifies the sink port where transparent transmission is to be set.

Transparent Transmission of Overhead Bytes at Sink Port

D1 to D12, E1 to E2, F1, X1 to X4, K1 to K3, FE_CH1, FE_CH2

Sets the byte to be transmitted transparently through the sink port.
