SSM Output

In this user interface, you can decide whether the clock signal that the equipment outputs through the external clock interface contains SSM messages.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose Configuration > Clock > Physical Clock > Physical Clock Subnet Configuration. Click the SSM Output tab.

Line Port

For example: Internal Clock Source 1

Indicates the line port name.

Other Fiber End

For example: NE2-Shelf18(subrack)-18-11ST2-2(RM2/TM2)

Indicates the port connected to the line port by a fiber.

Output S1 Byte Info

Enabled, Disabled

Specifies whether to set the line port or external clock source outputs the S1 byte quality information or not. It is usually set to Disabled at the boundary of a clock network.

For example, in the case of interconnection with a network formed by equipment of other vendors, you can set it to Disabled at the boundary of a clock network to avoid impact on other equipment. In general, it is set to Enabled.
