Description

Downgrade ASON Signalling

Used for downgrading the ASON signaling.

NOTE:

Care should be taken for downgrading the ASON signaling because this operation causes conversion from an ASON service to a non-ASON service.

Description

Query ASON Trail

  • With this node as source
  • With this node as the intermediate node
  • With this node as sink
  • Passing through this node
Default: Passing through this node

Under Query ASON Trail, you can select a query mode for ASON signaling maintenance.

Name

Source NE-Sink NE-WDM ASON Trail-00x

For example: NE3-NE2-WDM ASON Trail-001

Displays the name of the ASON trail.

Source (Sink) Node

For example: 1.1.1.11

Displays the source or sink node ID.

Source (Sink) Wavelength

Wavelength No./Wavelength/Frequency

For example, 2/1529.55/196.000

Displays the source (sink) wavelength of an ASON trail.

Source Input Path

For example, 1

Displays the source input path.

Sink Out Path

For example, 1

Displays the sink out path.

Class

Diamond, Silver, Copper

Displays the protection type of the WDM ASON trail. There are three types of WDM ASON trails: diamond, silver and copper.
  • Diamond indicates the 1+1 protection service. It is a service featuring 1+1 protection between the source and sink nodes.
  • Silver indicates the rerouting service. If a trail becomes faulty, it repeatedly reroutes until the rerouting is successful. If the original route is restored during the rerouting, the rerouting stops.
  • Copper indicates the non-protection service. Trail failure or service interruption does not cause rerouting.

Direction

Bidirectional

Displays the direction of an ASON trail. Bidirectional means both the source and the sink can transmit and receive services.

Primary/Secondary Status

Primary, Secondary

Displays the primary or secondary status of a trail.

Updated On

Date/Month/Year Hour:Minute:Second

05/09/2008 11:18:15

Displays the time when the ASON trail was updated.

Index

For example: 326

Displays the trail index.

Node Location

Source Node, Sink Node, Intermediate Node

Displays the node location.

Level

ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU3, ODU4, ODUflex, OCh

Displays the level of an ASON trail.

Rate

  • ODU0: ODU0
  • ODU1: ODU1
  • ODU2: Standard Mode, Speedup Mode
  • ODU3: Standard Mode, Speedup Mode
  • ODU4: Speedup Mode
  • ODUflex: -
  • OCh: -

Displays the rate of an ASON trail.

Rerouting Reversion

For example, -

Displays the rerouting reversion.

Service Status

Up, Down

Displays the service status.

Operation Sign
