Optical-Layer Fault Monitoring Maintenance

On this user interface, you can maintenance parameters for the optical-layer fault monitoring.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose ASON > Advanced Maintenance from the navigation tree. In the right pane, click the Optical-Layer Fault Monitoring Maintenance tab.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Function	For example: Rerouting Triggered by Optical-Layer Channel Alarms, Working Routes Of Non-Optical Diamond Service Traverse Same Nodes, Auto Split Overlapping Optical Dual-homing Services	Displays the name of the function.
Status	Enabled, Disabled	Sets whether to open the function. For example: Indicates the ASON trail whether reroute when the optical-layer channel alarm have generated. Specifies whether to switch the forward and reverse working trails of an electrical diamond service to the same nodes when they traverse different nodes. This function facilitates service deployment and maintenance. when the two paths of the optical Dual-homing service overlap after the rerouting, periodically check whether the current route does not overlap exists. If present, automatically split the two current trails of an optical Dual-homing service which overlap after reroute calculation. This function reduces service risks.
