WDM ASON Switch Controller Maintenance

You can use this function to maintain an ASON switch controller.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Advanced Maintenance from the Function Tree. Click the WDM ASON Switch Controller Maintenance tab.

Downgrade ASON Switch Controller

Used to downgrade an ASON switch controller.

NOTE:

Care should be taken for downgrading an ASON switch controller, because this operation may convert the service into a non-ASON service.

Local Node Add (Drop) Port

Displays the local node add or drop port of an ASON trail.

Wavelength No./Wavelength/Frequency

For example, 2/1529.55/196.000

Displays the source (sink) wavelength of an ASON trail.

Source (Sink) Path Number

For example, 2

Displays the source (sink) path number of an ASON trail.

Level

ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU3, ODU4, ODUflex, OCh

Displays the level of an ASON trail.

Rate
  • ODU0: ODU0
  • ODU1: ODU1
  • ODU2: Standard Mode, Speedup Mode
  • ODU3: Standard Mode, Speedup Mode
  • ODU4: Speedup Mode

Displays the rate of an ASON trail.

Displays the trail index.

Switch Controller Index

For example, 1

Displays the switch controller index.

Switch Controller Status

Up, Down

Displays the switch controller status.

Displays the trail instance.
