If the gap between the OA gain and the line loss is greater than 2 dB, the TE link status of the transmit end is OMS attenuation abnormal. Using these TE links for ASON trails may affect or even interrupt services. Users can choose to or not to use the OMS whose line attenuation is abnormal based on actual conditions.
In the NE Explorer, choose from the navigation tree. In the right pane, click the ASON Policy Management tab.
