NE Alarm Suppression and Severity

In this user interface, you can query and set alarm suppression and severity for the control plane of an NE.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Control Plane Alarm > Alarm Suppression and Severity from the Function Tree, click NE Alarm Suppression and Severity tab.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Event	For example, CPC_NODE_ID_ERR	Displays the alarms in the control plane of an NE.
Suppress Status	Suppressed, Not Suppressed	Sets the suppression status of an alarm.
Severity	Critical, Major, Minor, Warning	Set the severity of the control plane alarm.
