Control Channel Alarm Suppression and Severity

In this user interface, you can query and set the alarm suppression state and severity for the control channel control plane.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Control Plane Alarm > Alarm Suppression and Severity from the Function Tree, click Control Channel Alarm Suppression and Severity tab.

Event

For example: CPC_CC_DOWN

Displays alarm events of the control channel control plane.

Suppress Status

Suppressed, Not Suppressed

Sets the suppression status of an alarm.

Severity

Critical, Major, Minor, Warning

Set the severity of the control plane alarm.

Source

NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)

Displays the source of a control channel.

Remote Address

For example: 1.1.1.179

Displays the node ID of the node at the opposite end

Next Hop Address

For example: 1.1.1.179

Displays the node ID of the source's next hop. If the next hop is the destination node, the next hop address is the same as remote address.

Administration Status

Up, Down

Downindicates that this channel is disabled. Upindicates that this channel is enabled.

Operational Status

Up, Down, Config_Send

Identifies the current status of the LMP protocol.

If the Administration Status is Down, the operation status is down.

Local CCID

An integer in decimal format

For example: 3

Displays the control channel number.

Type

For example, OSC_D4_D12

For example, SDH_D4_D12

Displays the type of the control channel.
