Control Link Alarm Suppression and Severity

In this user interface, you can query and set the alarm suppression state and severity for the control link control plane.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Control Plane Alarm > Alarm Suppression and Severity from the Function Tree, click Control Link Alarm Suppression and Severity tab.

Alarm Event

For example: CPC_OSPF_CL_DOWN

Displays alarm events of the control link control plane.

Source/Sink Suppression Status

Suppressed, Not Suppressed

Sets the suppression status of an alarm on the source or sink.

Severity

Critical, Major, Minor, Warning

Set the severity of the control plane alarm.

Name

For example: PPP-0-7-255-1-11

Displays the name of a control link.

Source (Sink) NE

For example: NE(126-532)

Displays the name for the source or sink NE.

Source (Sink) Node

For example: 1.1.5.32

Displays the source or sink node ID.

Source (Sink) Port

shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)

Displays the source or sink port of an ASON trail.

Index

A string in hexadecimal format

For example: 0x5828B001

Displays the index number of a control link.

Type

LoopBack, PPP, Broadcast, Multicast, Unnumbered

Displays the type of the link.

Status

Up, Down

Down indicates that this channel is disabled. Up indicates that this channel is enabled.

OSPF

Enabled, Disabled

Displays whether the OSPF routing protocol is enabled.

Path Number

Decimal integer

For example: 0

Displays the CCID of a control link.

Address

For example: 1.1.1.5

Displays the network address.

Subnet Mask

IP mask

For example: 255.255.255.0

Displays the network address mask.
