The window is divided into four portions: Query ASON Trail on the top, the ASON trail list in the middle, cross-connection information in the lower portion, and a button area. In this window the user can query ASON trail information from single NEs.
In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select from the Function Tree.

|
Direction |
Bidirectional |
Bidirectional means both the source and the sink can transmit and receive services. Unidirectional means the source transmits services and the sink receives services. At present, the ASON supports bidirectional only. |
Bandwidth Granularity |
VC4 |
Displays the bandwidth granularity of an ASON trail. Only VC4 is supported. |
Service Status |
