Control Plane Parameters

In this user interface, you can set the control plane parameters, including bandwidth load, bandwidth weight, distance weight, hop weight, custom cost weight, route strategy.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Control Plane Parameters from the Function Tree.

You can set route computation policy parameters for different domains in SDH, Optical Layer, Electrical Layer tabs.

Parameters

Route Computation Policy	NE	For example, NE11	Displays the NE name.
	Bandwidth Load (%)	0 to 100	Queries or sets the bandwidth utilization.
	Bandwidth Weight	0 to 500	Queries or sets the bandwidth weight.
	Distance Weight	0 to 500	Queries or sets the weight of the TE link distance.
	Hop Weight	0 to 500	Queries or sets the weight of hops.
	Custom Cost Weight	0 to 500	Queries or sets the weight of user-defined cost.
Route Strategy		Load Sharing Mode, Shortest Distance Mode, Minimum Hop Count Mode, Integrated Constraint Mode, Custom Mode	Select the mode of the route strategy. In the load sharing mode, the weight of the bandwidth is 50 and the weights of other parameters are 0. In the shortest distance mode, the weight of the distance is 50 and the weights of other parameters are 0. In the minimum hop count mode, the weight of the hop count is 50 and the weights of other parameters are 0. In the integrated constraint mode For SDH domain, the weight of the bandwidth occupancy is 0, the weight of the bandwidth is 50, the weight of the distance is 50, and the weight of the hop count is 0, the weight of custom cost is 50. For optical layer domain, the weight of the bandwidth occupancy is 0, the weight of the bandwidth is 0, the weight of the distance is 80, and the weight of the hop count is 20, the weight of custom cost is 50. For electrical layer domain, the weight of the bandwidth occupancy is 0, the weight of the bandwidth is 50, the weight of the distance is 50, and the weight of the hop count is 0, the weight of custom cost is 50. In the custom mode, you can set the parameters as required.
