Fiber Resource Threshold Management

You can set the fiber resource threshold according to network planning. When the fiber resource utilization exceeds the threshold, the Web LCT reports an alarm. Otherwise, the Web LCT does not report any alarm. In this user interface, you can set and query the fiber resource threshold.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose ASON > Fiber Resource Threshold Management from the Function Tree.

Specifies the unit of bandwidth as needed.

Source (Sink) NE

For example, NE48

Displays the name of the source or the sink NE.

Source (Sink) Port

For example, 1-JL64-1(SDH-1)

Displays the source or the sink port of a TE link.

Source (Sink) Index

A string in hexadecimal format

For example, 0x6c000019

Displays the source or the sink index number of a TE link.

Resource Threshold

0 to 100

Sets the resource threshold.

Specifies the percentage of the resource threshold, which is an integer from 0 to 100. The default value is 75%. When the fiber resource utilization exceeds the threshold, the Web LCT reports an alarm.

Max. Bandwidth

For example: 16

Displays the maximum bandwidth of a link. The unit set by the user.

Distance

Integer

Displays the link distance.

Component Link Count

For example, 1

Displays the number of component links that a TE link includes.

Protection Type

For example, Unprotected

Displays the protection type of a TE link.

SRLG

Integer

For example, 23

Displays the shared risk link group number of a TE link.

Source (Sink) Node

For example, 1.1.1.145

Displays the source or the sink node ID of a TE link.
