OSPF Component Link

The window is divided into three portions: Unit on the top, the Component Link list in the middle, and a button area.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select ASON > OSPF Protocol Management from the Function Tree. Click OSPF Component Link.

Bandwidth Unit

Specifies the unit of bandwidth as needed.

Source (Sink) NE

For example, NE11

Displays the name of the source or the sink NE.

Source Port

For example, 1-JL64-1(SDH-1)

Displays the source port of a component link.

Source (Sink) Index

A string in hexadecimal format

For example, 0x6c000019, 0x6c00001f

Displays the source or the sink index number of a component link.

Source (Sink) Node

For example, 1.1.1.11

Displays the source or the sink node ID of a component link.

Max. Bandwidth

Integer

For example, 1, 2, 64

Specifies the maximum bandwidth of a component link. The integer is not following by a bandwidth unit, which is in fact the unit set by the user.

Auto-Discovery

Yes, No

Indicates whether a component link is discovered automatically.

Extend Status

For example, Automatically Discovered

Displays the extend status of a component link.

Degrade Type

For example, Normal, LMP Downgraded

Displays the degrade type of a component link.

Setting

See the following sample values.

The selected column's width: 75 Pixels

The selected column's name: Source NE

Allows the user to set component link list fields. The user can set what fields to display and in what order the fields are displayed. The user can also set the width for a selected column.
