Deleting Fibers

During the adjustment of the network, if you need to delete the NEs or change the links between NEs, you need to delete the fiber connections between the NEs.

Prerequisites

There are no services on the fiber to be deleted.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Fiber Management from the Function Tree.
  2. Select the fiber you wish to delete, and click Delete.
  3. Click OK.
