Deleting Boards

To modify board configurations for an NE, you can delete boards from the NE Panel.

Prerequisites

Fiber connections must be deleted and the board must be in the idle state before you delete a board.

On the board, the services are deleted and the service types are cleared.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, click Slot Layout to select a master shelf or a slave shelf.
  2. Right-click the board to be deleted and choose Delete from the shortcut menu.
