You can view all optical or electrical ports for which you configure loopback in the network and view the loopback status. You can also cancel the loopback, to avoid impact on services due to a loopback that should not be performed.
Context
NOTICE: Setting a loopback may interrupt services. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.
Procedure
- Click the networkwide maintenance status icon
on the toolbar, and the Networkwide Maintenance Status dialog box is displayed. - Choose Optical (Electrical) Interface Loopback, select the NEs from the Function Tree and click
, view the loopback status for a path from U2000 Web LCT. - Click Query, view the loopback status from the NE.
NOTE: If the queried information is null, no path is set to loopback.
- Optional: Select a loopback status and then click Apply. A prompt is displayed indicating that the operation is successful. Click Close.
