Applying an MML Script to Configure NEs

NEs can be configured in batches by applying an MML script. Configuring NEs in this way boosts the site deployment efficiency.

Prerequisites

An MML script has been configured.

Context

NE services and configurations that can be managed on the U2000 Web LCT are contained in the MML script.

Procedure

  1. Apply an MML script.

    NOTICE:

Applying an MML script will interrupt communication between the U2000 Web LCT and NEs.

    1. In the NE list, select NEs, right-click and choose Switch to Command Line Mode from the shortcut menu.
    2. Enter a user name and password.
    3. Click under the script file directory, select a script, and click Apply.
    4. After the MML script is downloaded, click Switch to NM Mode under the NE list.
