Maintaining Network Communication on single NEs
If network storms come, NEs become unreachable, or communication is interrupted, users can use the communication diagnosis and maintenance functions (such as loopback configuration) provided for single NEs to troubleshoot faults. The ping
and traceroute tests are also supported for monitoring NE communication.

The U2000 Web LCT provides many communication monitoring, diagnosis, and maintenance functions. If network storms occur, NEs become unreachable, or communication is interrupted, you can use these functions to quickly locate and diagnose faults.

The communication status of NEs must be detected to ensure successful communication between NEs.
