Modifying the NE ID

Modify the NE ID according to the engineering plan to ensure that each NE ID is unique. The modification does not affect services.

Prerequisites

The NE must communicate with the U2000 Web LCT properly and the NE must be logged in.

Context

The procedure provided here is only applicable for modifying the NE ID in theNE List. For the procedure on modifying the NE ID in the NE Explorer, seeChanging an NE ID or Modifying an NE ID.

Procedure

In the NE List, select an NE and click Modify NE ID, or right-click an NE and choose Modify NE ID.
NOTE:
You can also select multiple NEs at a time to modify their IDs in batches.
In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
In the dialog box that is displayed, enter a new Ex-ID or ID for the NE and click OK.
NOTE:
Login Status indicates the status during the modification.
In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
