Setting the Packet Priority

After the packet priority is set, DCN and service packets will not interfere mutually.

Procedure

  1. Select the feature to be configured in the function tree.
    • In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Communication > DCN Management from the Function Tree. Click the Packet Control tab.(USP platform)
  2. In the DCN Packet Priority Control area, set the parameters and click Apply.

    NOTE:

    Set VLAN priority for traditional DCN packets; set DSCP priority for the DCN with gateway NEs where packets travels on the control plane.
