Alarm Insertion

In this user interface, you can insert alarms to the specified path or end the alarms that are inserted.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Alarm > Alarm Insertion from the Function Tree.

NOTE:

Only when no suppression is set for the inserted alarm or the inserted alarm is not filtered in the opposite NE, and the connection of two NE is normal, the inserted alarm can be reported normally in the opposite NE.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Monitored Object	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)-channel number Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name-port number(port name)-channel number	Displays the path of alarm insertion.
Alarm Name	For example: R_LOS	Displays the name of alarm that is inserted.
Insertion Status	Not Inserting, Inserting	Sets whether the alarm is inserted.
Insert	-	Selects to insert the alarm.
Clear	-	Selects to clear the alarm insertion.
NE Name	For example: NE501	Displays the name of the NE for which an alarm is inserted.
Board	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name	Displays the name of the board for which an alarm is inserted.
Functional Block	For example: 1-(SDH-1)-VC4:2	Displays the name of the functional module for which an alarm is inserted.
