Automatic Laser Shutdown

In this user interface, you can enableautomatic laser shutdown, set the on/off period and continuously on-test period.

In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose Configuration > Automatic Laser Shutdown from the Function Tree.

Button	Description
Query	Queries data from the NE.
Apply	Applies configuration data to the NE.
Test	Performs a long-term test for the laser.

Field	Value	Description
Optical Interface	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name) Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name-port number(port name)	Displays the name of an optical interface.
Auto Shutdown	Disabled, Enabled	Only when auto shutdown is set as Enabled, can you set on period, off period and continuously on-test period.
On Period (ms)	For example: 2000	The time to automatically start the laser to test whether optical fiber is normal after the laser is shut down.
Off Period (ms)	For example: 60000	The time for automatic laser shutdown.
Continuously On-test Period (ms)	For example: 90000	The time to manually start the laser to test whether optical fiber is normal after the laser is shut down.
