To configure the ATPC (Automatic Transmit Power Control) function, set the ATPC attributes of the IF board. The ATPC function reduces the interference of a transmitter to adjacent systems and the residual bit error rate. In this user interface, you can query and set parameters for an intermediate frequency (IF) interface.
In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose from the Function Tree.
In the case of the IF boards that are configured with the 1+1 protection, set only the ATPC attributes of the main IF board.
The transmit power of the two ODUs that are in an XPIC working group should be the same if possible. Hence, each of the ATPC parameters should be set to the same value for the IF boards that are in an XPIC working group.
In the case of the Hybrid microwave, the AM switching is controlled through detection of the change in the ATPC information and returned microwave message.
Setting the loopback status of the IF interface to inloop or outloop may interrupt the running service and ECC. Exercise caution before using the function.

Microwave Link ID |
1 to 4094 |
Sets the microwave link ID. As the identifier of a microwave link, this parameter is used to avoid misconnection of microwave links between sites. |
|
Received Microwave Link ID |
1 to 4094 |
Queries the microwave link ID that is received. The signals that are received at an end is effective only when the link IDs are matched. When the received link ID does not match the expected link ID, an end inserts the AIS signal to the services in the downstream direction and reports a link ID mismatch alarm to the U2000 Web LCT. |
|
IF Port Loopback |
Non-Loopback, Inloop, Outloop Default: Non-Loopback |
Sets the loopback status of an intermediate frequency interface on the equipment. Non-Loopback is usually selected.
|
|
Consecutive Wave Status |
Stop, Start |
This parameter displays or specifies the status of transmitting the carrier signals from the IF interface. This parameter can be set to Start in the commissioning process only. In normal cases, this parameter is set to Stop. Otherwise, services are interrupted. |
|
Capacity Usage of Ethernet Service(Mbit/s) |
N/A |
Displays the Ethernet service data capacity of the IFH2 board. |

IS2, IS3 |
Indicates the running mode of an ISU3 or ISV3 board.

Enables or disables ATPC. |
ATPC Upper Threshold (dBm) |
-85.0 to -20.0 |
Sets the upper threshold of ATPC adjustment. When the level of the received signal exceeds the threshold, the transmitter automatically adjusts the transmit power. This parameter is configurable only when AATPC Enable Status is set to Enabled. |
ATPC Lower Threshold (dBm) |
-90.0 to -25.0 |
Sets the lower threshold of ATPC adjustment. When the level of the received signal is smaller than the threshold, the transmitter automatically adjusts the transmit power. This parameter is configurable only when AATPC Enable Status is set to Enabled. |
ATPC Adjustment(dB) |
1.0 to 5.0 |
The ATPC Adjustment(dB) parameter indicates the step for increasing or decreasing the transmitted power of the opposite ODU at a time when the ATPC function is enabled. This parameter is configurable only when AATPC Enable Status is set to Enabled. |
ATPC Automatic Threshold Enable Status |
Enabled, Disabled |
Sets the ATPC automatic threshold enable status. The ATPC function enables the transmit power of a transmitter to automatically trace the change of the received signal level (RSL) at the receive end within the ATPC control range. When the function is enabled, the manually set ATPC upper and lower thresholds are invalid. The equipment automatically uses the preset ATP upper and lower thresholds based on the working mode of the IF board. When the function is disabled, the manually set ATPC upper and lower thresholds are used. |
