CPRI Mode

An NE can connect to access NEs through port 3 after the CPRI mode is set. This setting helps increase the transmission capacity.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > CPRI Mode from the Function Tree.

Active

Activates a connection mode for the NE.
  • Before activating the CPRI mode for the NE, ensure that ports 1 to 4 do not have services and that ports 2 and 3 do not have GE ports. If services or GE ports exist, delete them, add port -3 in the path view, and set the port type to CPRI Port.
  • Before activating the non-CPRI mode for the NE, delete port -3 in the path view.
NOTICE:
  • Before adding port -3, delete all GE ports and services carried by them.

  • Activating the CPRI mode will cause a cold reset on the NE.

Indicates the connection mode of the NE.
  • In CPRI mode, the NE can connect to access NEs.
  • In non-CPRI mode, the NE can connect to transport NEs only.

Rate

1.25G, 2.5G, GE

Indicates the rate of a CPRI port.
  • If the NE works in CPRI mode, set this parameter to 1.25G or 2.5G.
  • If the NE works in non-CPRI mode, set this parameter to GE.

Actual Rate

1.25G, 2.5G, GE

Indicates the actual rate of a CPRI port.
