Parameters

Table 1 PW APS, PW FPS

Field

Value

Description

Protection Group ID

1 to 4096

Set the protection group ID.

Working PW ID

For example: 123

Displays the ID of working PW.

Protection PW ID

For example: 321

Displays the ID of protection PW.

Protection Mode

1+1, 1:1

When the protection mode is 1+1 protection, the service is in the dual-fed and selective-receiving mode. When the protection mode is 1:1 protection, the service is in the single-fed and single-receiving mode.

Protection Group Status

Enabled, Disabled

Indicate whether a protection group is enabled.

Switchover Mode

Single-ended switching, Dual-ended switching

Indicates the switching status of a protection group.

Restoration Mode

Non-Revertive, Revertive

Determines whether the services are restored to the original working PW after the fault is removed.

  • If Revertive is selected, the services are restored to the working PW.
  • If Non-Revertive is selected, the services are not restored to the working PW.

WTR Time (min)

1 to 12

Specifies the wait-to-restore time of the switching.

WTR time is the period between when the working PW recovers and when the services are restored to the working PW.

Hold-off Time (100 ms)

0 to 100

Specifies the switching delay time.

The switching delay time is the period between when a fault is detected and when the switching occurs.

Enabling Status

Enabled, Disabled

Sets the enabling status of the protection group.

Deployment Status

Deployed, Undeployed

Display the deployment status of the protection group.

An deployed protection group is saved on the U2000 Web LCT and the settings of the group are applied to NEs. An undeployed protection group is saved only on the U2000 Web LCT.

Switchover Status

in-work, in-protect

Indicates the switching status of a protection group.

Protocol Status

Working in working tunnel, Working in protection tunnel, The current status is forcibly locked, Forcibly switching status and working in the protection tunnel, Invalid working tunnel \(because the OAM generates an SF alarm\), Invalid protection tunnel \(because the OAM generates an SF alarm\), Invalid working tunnel \(because the OAM generates an SD alarm\), Invalid protection tunnel \(because the OAM generates an SD alarm\), This status is displayed while manually switching to the working tunnel, This status is displayed while manually switching to the protection channel In restoration mode, the working tunnel does not work and switches to the protection tunnel. Then, the working tunnel works and services automatically switch to the working tunnel. Before WTR reaches, this status remains, The switching is not required,This status is remotely displayed while practising switching, This status is displayed while practising switching.
