Basic Attributes

An NMS interface is a logical interface that is formed by binding network interfaces on the main control board of an NE. It can access E-LAN services on the UNI side after basic attributes are configured.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Interface Management > NMS Interface from the Function Tree. Then, click the Basic Attributes tab.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Port	For example: NMS-1	Display the port name.
Name	For example: NMS	Display the self-defined port name.
Port Mode	Layer 2	Display the working mode of the NMS port.
Encapsulation Type	802.1Q, QinQ	Indicates the means of processing the accessed packets. 802.1Q: The port identifies the 802.1Q standard packets. QinQ: The port identifies the QinQ standard packets.

Service Type	For example: E-LAN Service	Indicates the type of the service that is associated with the port. The type of the service may be different with the different port type.
Service ID	For example: 20	Indicates the ID of the service that is associated with the port. Click a service ID, the current window switches to the service management window of the corresponding service.
Service Name	For example: Service01	Indicates the name of the services that is associated with the port.
Used Resource	For example: VLAN[333]	Indicates the resource usage rate of the service associated with the port.

Logical Port Type	For example: Serial Interface	Indicates the type of the logical port of the port.
Logical Port ID	For example: 20	Indicates the ID of the logical port of the port. Click a port ID, the current window switches to the port management window of the corresponding port.
Logical Port Name	For example: 3	Indicates the name of the logical port.
Used Resource	-	Indicates the resource usage rate of the logical port.
