Layer 2 Attributes

An NMS interface is a logical interface that is formed by binding network interfaces on the main control board of an NE. It can access E-LAN services on the UNI side after Layer 2 attributes are configured.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose Configuration > Interface Management > NMS Interface from the navigation tree. Then, click the Layer 2 Attributes tab.

Parameter Description

Parameter	Value	Description
Port	For example: NMS-1	Indicates the port name.
QinQ Type Domain	For example: FF FF	Indicates the QinQ type domain.
Tag	For example: Hybrid	Indicates the tag.
Default VLAN ID	1 to 4094	Indicates the default VLAN ID.
VLAN Priority	0 to 7	Indicates the VLAN priority that ranges from 0 (lowest) to 7 (highest).
