Layer 2 Attributes

After the Layer 2 attributes of a microwave interface are set, the interface can be used for connecting to the client-side equipment at the edge of a PSN network or for forwarding Ethernet packets within the PSN network. The Layer 2 attributes of a microwave interface define the related information of the data link layer. In this interface, you can query and set the Layer 2 parameters of the microwave interface.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Interface Management > Microwave Interface from the function tree. Click Layer 2 Attributes tab.
In the NE Explorer, click the board and select Configuration > Interface Management > Microwave Interface from the Function Tree. Then, click the Layer 2 Attributes tab.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
Port	slot number-board name-port number(port name)	Display the port name.
QinQ Type Domain	0600 to FFFF	Set the QinQ type domain. This parameter is available only when you set Encapsulation Type in Basic Attributes to QinQ.
Tag	Tag Aware, Access, Hybrid	Specifies the Tag attribute of an external port. Tag Aware: When tag packets are transmitted from the user-side equipment, set Tag of the external port to Tag Aware. Access: When untag packets are transmitted from the user-side equipment, set Tag of the external port to Access. Hybrid: When tag and untag packets are transmitted from the user-side equipment, set Tag of the external port to Hybrid.
Default VLAN ID	For example: 1	Specifies the default VLAN ID.
VLAN Priority	For example: 2	Specifies the VLAN priority.
