Peer Configuration

In this user interface, you can set and query parameters related to peer of MP-BGP protocol.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Control Plane Configuration > MP-BGP Configuration from the Function Tree. Click the MP-BGP Configuration tab.

MP-BGP Instance ID

1-65535

Selects the MP-BGP instance ID that is already set. The EBGP instance ID and MP-BGP instance ID cannot be duplicate on the same NE.

Local Address

Example: 192.168.0.2

Displays the local IP address.

Local TCP Connection Port

0-65535

Displays the local TCP port.

Remote IP Address

Example: 192.168.0.4

Sets and displays a remote IP address. In the case of the MP-BGP, the remote IP address is the LSR ID of the opposite PE equipment.

Remote TCP Connection Port

0-65535

Displays a remote TCP port.

Remote AS Number

1-65535

Sets the remote AS number. The remote AS number of the peer should be the same as the local AS number.

Time to Live (s)

0-21845

Displays the live time.

Holding Time (s)

3-65535

Displays the keeping time.
