IMA Link States

In the case of routine maintenance and troubleshooting, the operator need query information on states of an IMA link to check whether the IMA link is normal.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose Configuration > Interface Management > ATM IMA Management from the function tree. Then, click the IMA Link States tab.

Query

Query information on states of an IMA link.

Select the IMA link for query. Click Query. A dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeds. Click Close.

NOTE:

You must complete the configuration of an IMA link.

VCTRUNK

Slot number - Board name - Sub-slot number - Sub-board name - Sub-board port number (Trunk number)

Displays the VCTRUNK.

E1 Link

For example: 27-N1D75E-1(Port-1)

Displays the E1 link information.

Differential Delay Check Status

Unknown, Valid, Invalid

Queries the delay state of the IMA link.

Near-End Receiving Status

Not In Group, Unusable, Usable, Active

Displays the near-end receiving status.

Not In Group: The link is not configured.

Unusable: The link is configured, but not in use because of fault, inhibition, and so on.

Usable: The link is ready to bear services, but waiting for the other end to be Usable or Active.

Active: The link is bearing services.

Near-End Transmission Status

Not In Group, Unusable, Usable, Active

Displays the near-end transmission status.

Not In Group: The link is not configured.

Unusable: The link is configured, but not in use because of fault, inhibition, and so on.

Usable: The link is ready to bear services, but waiting for the other end to be Usable or Active.

Active: The link is bearing services.

Far-End Receiving Status

Not In Group, Unusable, Usable, Active

Displays the far-end receiving status.

Not In Group: The link is not configured.

Unusable: The link is configured, but not in use because of fault, inhibition, and so on.

Usable: The link is ready to bear services, but waiting for the other end to be Usable or Active.

Active: The link is bearing services.

Far-End Transmission Status

Not In Group, Unusable, Usable, Active

Displays the far-end transmission status.

Not In Group: The link is not configured.

Unusable: The link is configured, but not in use because of fault, inhibition, and so on.

Usable: The link is ready to bear services, but waiting for the other end to be Usable or Active.
