In this user interface, you can query information about all IP routing tables, and add or delete static routes to or from the routing table.
In the NE Explorer, choose from the Function Tree. Click the IP Route Management tab.

Reachability Test |
Checks whether the NE can communicate with another NE using the IP address. This function applies to third-party NE connectivity tests.

Field |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Destination Address |
Valid class A, B or C addresses. For example: 129.0.0.1 |
Specifies the IP address of the destination of an IP data packet. NOTE:
The destination address cannot be the local address or a 127.xxx loopback address. |
Mask |
For example: 255.255.0.0 |
Specifies the subnet mask of the destination of an IP data packet. NOTE:
Configure the same subnet mask for NEs in the same network segment. Otherwise, an route error occurs. |
Gateway IP Address Gateway |
For example: 126.9.8.54 |
Displays the IP address of gateway. |
Protocol |
DIRECT, STATIC, OSPF, RIP, OSPF_ASE, OSPF_NSSA |
Displays the type of the routing protocol. DIRECT: This route is the route between this NE and an adjacent NE. STATIC: This route is manually created. OSPF: This route is the route between this NE and a non-adjacent NE. RIP: This route is detected by the routing protocol. OSPF_ASE: The destination of this route is outside the OSPF area. OSPF_NSSA: The destination of this route is in the not so stubby area (NSSA). NOTE:
|
Interface |
For example: Ethernet0, DCN Bridge |
Displays the interface the route uses. NOTE:
When configuring
a static route for communication between the control and management planes in Create an IP Route dialog, set Interface to DCN Bridge. In other cases, set Interface to None. |
Metric |
0 to 65535 |
Displays the maximum number of routers an IP data packet passes. |
Working Status |
For example: Working |
Display the working status of the route. |
Field |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Target NE IP |
For Example: 10.167.20.11 |
Sets the IP address of the target NE. |
Packet Length (Byte) |
64 to 2000 |
Sets the length of packets. |
Packet Quantity |
1 to 100 |
Sets the count of packets. |
Sending Interval (10ms) |
0 to 2000 |
Sets the interval of sending packets.
NOTE:
Different NEs support the different ranges of transmit interval. When the value exceeds the range, an error message is displayed. |
Response Timeout Time (10ms) |
1 to 20000 |
Sets the wait-to-response timeout time.
NOTE:
Different NEs support the different ranges of wait-to-response timeout time. When the value exceeds the range, an error message is displayed. |
Test Result |
Character string |
Displays the test result. |
