When services are available on a submarine cable line, you can use the submarine cable line monitoring in in-service mode to test the line and to enable the functions of parameter setting, status query, and alert.
Monitoring Submarine Cable Lines in Out-of-Service Mode
If no service is available on a submarine cable line or service is interrupted, you can use the submarine cable line monitoring in out-of-service mode to test the line and enable the related functions of parameter setting, status query, and alert. In this way, you can implement the status check and fault location of submarine cable lines.
