Managing the Line Test Baseline

By using the submarine monitoring equipment, you can test submarine cable lines and monitor their status on the U2000 Web LCT. You can also compare the test data with the history test data to analyze the working status of the current line. Select the test result when the line is in good condition as the line test baseline, to provide a basis of comparison and analysis for the following line test result.

Uploading the Line Test Baseline
After the line test baseline is collected, the information about the test line baseline data is saved in an NE. You can upload the line test baseline data from the NE to the U2000 Web LCT, to synchronize the data between the U2000 Web LCT and the NE.
Collecting the Line Test Baseline
In the case of deployment or fault restoration, or when updating the baseline is required, you need to collect the baseline, to provide reference for comparison tests, alerts, and alarms.
Setting a Single-Test Record as Line Test Baseline
When the line is in good condition, you can also set a single-test record as the line test baseline, to provide reference for test comparison.
Importing the Line Test Baseline
On the U2000 Web LCT, you can import the line test data file from a client computer and set the file as the line test baseline.
Exporting the Line Test Baseline
On the U2000 Web LCT, you can export the line test baseline of the current line and save the baseline data as a file to a client computer. The file can be imported to another line and used as the baseline data of the line.
Deleting the Line Test Baseline
You can delete the original line test baseline when you do not need it.
