Prerequisites
The nemgr_marine process must be deployed.
DCN Management
The U2000 Web LCT communicates with NEs, and manages and maintains network nodes through a DCN. In the DCN, the U2000 Web LCT and NEs are considered as nodes, which are connected by using the Ethernet or DCC physical channels. In practice, the U2000 Web LCT and NEs may be located at different floors of the same building, different buildings or different cities. Hence, U2000 Web LCT and NEs are connected through a DCN, which consists of switches and routers. The DCN between the NEs is referred to as an internal DCN.
Configuring the NE Time
Time consistency between the U2000 Web LCT and NEs is important for troubleshooting and network monitoring. You should set the U2000 Web LCT time and NE time before service configuration.

LPT
Link-state pass through (LPT) is used to return the remote-end link status to the near end. The near-end equipment performs operations depending on the remote-end link status. The Ethernet board periodically monitors the network to know the Ethernet status. For the change in the connection status (from up to down or from down to up) of Ethernet ports, if the change is caused by the opposite equipment, a board at the local end, network cable, human factors and other reasons, you can use the LPT function to quickly switch the route to the equipment on both ends.
