Setting a Single-Test Record as Line Test Baseline
When the line is in good condition, you can also set a single-test record as the line test baseline, to provide reference for test comparison.
Prerequisites
The test record exists.
Procedure
Setting an Unsaved Test Record as Line Test Baseline
n the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Submarine Cable Line Monitoring from the Function Tree.
Select a line and click View Test Result. The View Test Result window is displayed.
Select a record in the History Test Record area. The window displays the data of this record.
Click Save and Set as the Baseline and the record is set as the test baseline in the test mode.
NOTE:
If the selected record is the test record in the out-of-service mode, the record is set as the line test baseline in the out-of-service mode. If the selected record is the test record in the in-service mode, the record is set
as the line test baseline in the in-service mode.
Click to close the View Test Result window.
Setting a Saved Test Record as Line Test Baseline
In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Submarine Cable Line Monitoring from the Function Tree.
Enter the baseline management window as follows.
NOTE:
In-service mode: Select a line, click In-Service Mode and select Baseline Management. The In-Service Mode Baseline Management window
is displayed.
Out-of-service mode: Select a line, click Out-of-Service and select Baseline Management. The Out-of-Service Mode Baseline Management window
is displayed.
Optional: Click Display the Baseline to view the current line test baseline data of the line.
Select a record in the History Test Record area. The window displays the data of this record.
Click Set as the Baseline to set the selected record as the line test baseline.
NOTE:
Only one baseline is allowed to exist in a line. If the baseline data exists before you perform the operation, the original baseline is cleared after you perform the operation.
Optional: Click Display the Baseline to view the line test baseline data.
