The submarine communication system enters the routine maintenance state after you finish deployment, recover a fault, or re-obtain the baseline data. During the routine maintenance of submarine lines, you can observe the status of the lines by starting a comparison test. A comparison test automatically uses the same test parameters as the parameters for the current line test baseline, to generate an accurate comparison result, and to provide reference for alerts or alarms. A comparison test has two types: periodic and single-test. You can start a comparison test in the single-test mode, to observe the current working status of a line at any time and compare the status with the baseline data.
