Importing the Line Test Baseline

On the U2000 Web LCT, you can import the line test data file from a client computer and set the file as the line test baseline.

Prerequisites

The number of repeaters in the imported file must be consistent with the number of repeaters on the current line.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Submarine Cable Line Monitoring from the Function Tree.
  2. There are two navigation paths to the baseline management window.
    • In-service mode: Select a line, click In-Service Mode and select Baseline Management. The In-Service Mode Baseline Management window is displayed.
    • Out-of-service mode: Select a line, click Out-of-Service Mode and select Baseline Management. The Out-of-Service Mode Baseline Management window is displayed.
  3. Click Import Baseline. In the confirmation dialog box displayed, click OK.
  4. In the dialog box that is displayed, select a desired file and click OK.

    NOTE:

    The format of the imported file is .sor.

  5. In the window, the imported file is displayed as the baseline.
