Before you performing the PRBS test, configure the PRBS Test Status of the tested boards.
Prerequisites
The corresponding OTU boards must be created.
Precautions
- If the PRBS Test Status is enabled, the service-level alarms except for the R_LOS and PRBS_LSS alarms are suppressed, such as the R_LOF alarm.
- If the PRBS Test Status is enabled, service-related performance events are suppressed, such as MSUAS, and RSUAS.
- After the PRBS Test Status is enabled, do not perform any other operation, such as modifying the service type, opening or closing a laser, or configuring a loopback.
- After the PRBS test is complete, stop the test. Then, configure the PRBS Test Status of the board to Disabled.
NOTICE: Performing a PRBS test interrupts services.
