Virtual Port Mapping Management

In this user interface, you can add a virtual port for a universal Line board and map the port to an ODUk port.

On the NE Panel, right-click a universal Line board and choose Path View from the shortcut menu. In the path view, right-click in the navigation tree and choose Add Virtual Port from the shortcut menu.
In the NE Explorer, select a universal Line board and choose Configuration > Virtual Port Mapping Management from the navigation tree.

Button	Description
Add	Add a virtual port for the hybird line board and map the port to an ODUK port. NOTE: If there are cross-connection services on the ODUk port, then this port resoures cannot create the virtual port of SDH or ETH.

Field	Value	Description
Port Type	ETH, SDH	Indicates the type of an access service. Universal Line boards apply to a network composed of SDH and packet services.
Level	Example: STM-64	Indicates the rate level of an access service. This parameter is available only when the port type is SDH.
Bandwidth	GE, 2GE, 10GE, 40GE, nGE	Indicates the bandwidth of an access service. This parameter is available only when the port type is ETH.
Quantity	Example: 1	Indicates the number of virtual ports to be added. The value depends on the bandwidth or rate capability of universal Line boards.
Port	Example: 52	Indicates the ID of a virtual port.
Mapped ODUk	Example: 1(IN/OUT):OCh:1-ODU3:1-ODU2:4	Indicates the ID of the ODUk port that a virtual port maps to.
Occupied ODTUk Timeslots	Example: 8	Indicates the quantity of timeslots for mapping a virtual port to an ODUk port. This parameter takes effect only when Port Type is ETH and the port is mapped to an ODUflex port.
