Browse Events Logs

In this user interface, you can view abnormal events within the specified period time.

Navigation Path

Choose Fault > Browse Event Logs from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Fault Management in Application Center and choose Browse Alarm > Query Event Logs from the main menu (application style). In the display Filter dialog box, click OK.
NOTE:

If you set the default template, you need to click Filter to open the Filter dialog box.

Template

Clicks the button to display a drop-down menu, and sets the event template. The drop-down menu contains New, Open, Save, Save As, Delete and Template Management.

Specifies the type of the NE where an event is generated.

Description:

According to the location information, you can locate the causes of the event and determine the event handling method.

Occurrence Time

Description:

Displays the occurrence time of the event.

Remarks

Description:

Displays the description of the event.

Log Serial Number

Description:

Displays the serial number of an event log. It is the key word of an event log. With this serial number, an event can be defined uniquely.

Link Name

Description:

Displays the name of the link where the event occurs.

Link Type

Description:

Displays the type of the link where the event occurs.

Type

Description:

Displays the type of event.

Object Type

Description:

Displays the object instance type of the event.

Operation Impact Flag

Description:

Displays the operation impact flag of the event.

Additional Information

Description:

Displays the additional information of the event.

Received On

Description:

Displays the arrival time of the event.

NE Address

Description:

Displays the IP address of NE where the event occurs.

Maintenance Region

Description:

Displays the maintenance region of the event.

-

Information

Description:

Maintenance region of an event. Values of Details for events contain information about maintenance personnel, which helps maintenance personnel understand event status of devices within their maintenance scopes and promptly handle events.

Details

Description:

Detailed information about an event, including the event source, location information, additional information, and remarks.

Troubleshooting

Description:

Suggestions on handling an event, including information about the event cause, rectification suggestion, event description, and cause type.
NOTE:

In the Troubleshooting area, click Click here for details. The help page that shows details about the event is displayed.

Show latest events

Description:

Specifies whether to display events in real time.

Setting method:

Set it through the check box.

Scroll lock

Description:

Specifies whether to scroll up and down to display events in the event window.

Setting method:

Set it through the check box.
