WDM Interfaces for the Submarine Equipment

In this user interface, you can configure the detailed parameters for the WDM interface of the OptiX SLM1630.

There are four fields from the top down in the right portion of the user interface of the WDM interface configuration as follows:

The first field contains two option buttons: By Board/Port (Channel) and By Function, for selecting the classification method of the attributes.
The second field contains the objects to be set after the classification, which are changed according to the change of selection in the first field.
The third field is for setting attributes, which are changed according to the changes in the second field. You can set the attributes by double clicking the field and enter the value, or selecting the value from the drop-down list. For the descriptions of the attributes, refer to the parameter descriptions for different types of boards.
The last field contains two buttons: Query and Apply. Before the setting, you can click Query to query the board attributes from the NE. After the setting, you need to click Apply to deliver the configuration.

In the NE Explorer, select the corresponding board and choose Configuration > WDM Interface from the Function Tree.

Field	Value	Description
Optical Interface/Channel	For example: NE4-1-LMI-1(IN/OUT)	Displays the position of the current optical interface.
Optical Interface Name	For example: IN/OUT	Do not the parameter. Use the default value.
Threshold of Input Power Loss (dBm)	For example: -60 to -20	Displays the threshold of the input optical power loss. When the input optical power is lower than this value, the signal is considered to be lost.
Laser Status	Open, Close	Displays the enable status of the laser.
Wavelength (nm)	For example: 1563.68	Displays the actual working wavelength of the optical port.
Optical Switch No.	1 to 8	Displays the serial number of the optical switch.
