In this user interface, you can set test parameters for the manual test and line baseline collection test.

Pulse Width(us)

For In-Service Mode,
  • Range: an integer from 1 to 200.
  • Default: 10.
For Out-of-Service Mode,
  • Range: an integer from 1 to 200.
  • The default value for a baseline test, manual test, or comparison test in the single-test mode is 10.
  • The default value for a fast fault location test is 20.

Specifies the width of the test pulse.

Sampling Times(Time)

For In-Service Mode,
  • Range (SLM 1630 V100R001): an integer from 1 to 1048576.
  • Range(SLM 1630 V100R002): an integer from 1 to 1048575.
  • Default: 100000.
For Out-of-Service Mode,
  • Range (SLM 1630 V100R001): an integer from 1 to 1048576.
  • Range(SLM 1630 V100R002): an integer from 1 to 1048575.
  • The default value for a baseline test, manual test, or comparison test in single-test mode is 50000.
  • The default value for a fast fault location test is 20000.

Specifies the total sampling times.

Sampling Frequency(MHz)

For example: 5

Indicates the query result of the sampling frequency.

LMI Optical Power(dBm)

For example: -60

Indicates the query result of LMI Optical Power.

Code Pattern

For the SLM 1630 V100R001: Single, Short, Medium, Long

Default: Single

For the SLM 1630 V100R002: Single

Specifies the code pattern of the test pulse.

Testing Time(Hour:Minute:Second)

For example: 01:15:08

Specifies the total time of the test.

Optical Power(dBm)

For In-Service Mode,
  • Range (SLM 1630 V100R001): an integer from -10 to 17.5.
  • Default: -4.
For Out-of-Service Mode,
  • Range(SLM 1630 V100R001): -10.0 to 17.5.
  • Range(SLM 1630 V100R002): -10.0 to 18.5.
  • Default: -17.

Indicates the query result of the detection optical power.

Dummy Laser Status

Open, Close

Specifies the status of the dummy laser.
NOTE:

This parameter can be set only in Out-of-Service mode.

Dummy Laser Band Type

C

Specifies the band type of the dummy laser.
NOTE:

This parameter can be set only in Out-of-Service mode.

Dummy Laser Wavelength NO./Wavelength (nm)/Frequency (THz)

For example: 44/1546.12/193.900

Specifies the wavelength NO., wavelength and frequency of the dummy laser.
NOTE:

This parameter can be set only in Out-of-Service mode.

Balance Dummy Light and Probe Light

Yes, No

Specifies whether the dummy light and the probe light is balanced.
NOTE:
  • This parameter can be set only in Out-of-Service mode.
  • When Balance Dummy Light and Probe Light is Yes, the Dummy Laser Power(dBm) is dimmed.

Dummy Laser Power(dBm)

1 to 7

Specifies the laser power of the dummy laser.
NOTE:
  • This parameter can be set only in Out-of-Service mode.
  • When the optical power of B2LAS and B2LMU is balanced, Dummy Laser Power(dBm) is dimmed.
