Cross-Span Management

In this user interface, you can set and modify fiber parameters for lines.

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Submarine Cable Line Management from the Function Tree. In the right pane, click the Cross-Span Management tab.

Parameter	Value	Description
Span ID	For example: 2	Indicates the span ID of a fiber.
Fibe/Cable Type	For example: G.652	Indicates the fiber type of a span.
Refractive Index	1.300 to 1.600	Indicates the fiber refractive index of a span.
Attenuation Coefficient	0.15 to 0.30	Indicates the fiber attenuation coefficient of a span.
Fiber/Cable Length (km)	For the SLM 1630 V100R002: 35.0 to 400.0	Indicates the fiber length of a span.
